Detr\u00e1s de este producto hay una historia de aprovechamiento ingenioso: transformar una planta invasora en una fuente energ\u00e9tica de calidad superior.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El marab\u00fa es un arbusto espinoso que, tras extenderse sin control por casi un mill\u00f3n de hect\u00e1reas en Cuba, se ha convertido en una amenaza para la agricultura del pa\u00eds. Sin embargo, su madera \u2014dura, densa y resistente\u2014 resulta ideal para fabricar carb\u00f3n vegetal de alto rendimiento. Comienza con el corte manual del marab\u00fa, sigue con la construcci\u00f3n de hornos de tierra donde la le\u00f1a se carboniza durante 7 a 10 d\u00edas, y finaliza con el enfriado, la clasificaci\u00f3n y el ensacado del producto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El rendimiento t\u00edpico en hornos tradicionales es de un 25% en peso (1 kg de carb\u00f3n por cada 4 kg de le\u00f1a), aunque algunas t\u00e9cnicas modernas logran subir ese porcentaje hasta el 33%.
